JOIN US FOR A FUN WEEKEND!
Unlike other events, we plan our hotel events as part LARP event, part social vacation. In other words, we encourage you to stay the weekend, play the game and spend time with your fellow players and cast. Here's how it works.
We expect to have much of our cast at the hotel by Friday evening. We will likely gather at the hotel's watering hole, chat, laugh, maybe even bring some board games with us. There will likely be some sort of trivia contest, where you can win fabulous prizes. At some point, cast will scamper off to handle last-minute preparations while the rest of you laugh the evening away.
Come Saturday, we run the event from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. You know, that LARP thing we're here to do. After that, we will break for dinner and head out in different groups around the immediate area. Eat, laugh, take a shower, hit the hotel's pool and jacuzzi or take a break in your room, it's up to you. Later that evening, we'll meet again, likely in the same room we ran the event, where we'll give out awards in a lighthearted awards ceremony. Someone will invariably serve as bartender, we'll bring board games, laugh, chat and generally have a good time. Hit the sack whenever you feel like it.
Whenever we are up and about on Sunday morning, those of us who find each other will likely grab breakfast, hang out and have fun. Sooner or later, you'll have to head home after you say goodbye to your new friends.

The event will take place at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, in Springfield, MA. We have a room block at the hotel for Friday and Saturday nights, at the rate of $119.00/night. Just ask for "Keystone" and "Winged Throne", and they should be able to take care of you. I would recommend you call the hotel directly at 1-866-238-4218, to make sure the room discount is available.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
As some of you well know, we make our one-day events a weekend affair, with lots of fun events for our community. Here is the schedule of events we have in store for you!
6:00 PM - Dinner get-together. Meet at the second-floor lobby area, outside the Mahogany Room.
8:00 PM - Keystone Twenty Questions! Come join a team, have a drink and have fun! Meet at the MVP bar in the hotel, located on the second floor.
11:00 AM - Check-in opens. Check in and let us know that you are here. This will be the only time the Cardiff Shop will be available for use; it will not be available during the event. Check-in will happen outside the Mahogany room.
12:00 PM - Check-in closes. If you miss check-in, just join the event as per usual. Find us after the event and we will sort out any payments or details that need sorting.
12:30 PM - Opening Meeting. Listen to the powers-that-be give you any information you need before the event. We ask that players be ready to start the event at this time.
1:00 PM - Game on! Welcome to the Hacienda de Zao. Who knows what mysteries and wonders await you at the Lunar Festival?!
6:00 PM - Game off! Thank you for joining us! Please remove your personal belongings and vacate the game area as soon as possible, so that hotel staff can do their jobs.
7:00 PM - Dinner outing! Meet outside the Mahogany room as we walk via skyway to the Marriott, where we will eat dinner at Champions Sports Bar.
10:00 PM - After-party! Come to the Mahogany room and join us for a little bit of Dave Catania's special brand of hospitality. Unlike Willis, Dave shares!
9:30 AM - Farewell breakfast! Come join us at the hotel's restaurant for their delicious breakfast buffet! Say farewell to your friends and have a hearty meal before you head home!
